About the Opportunity

KLEEMANN Elevators Australia is hiring full-time Service Technicians in Sydney.

In this role, you will maintain and service a variety of elevator systems, collaborating with contract managers and technical supervisors to ensure seamless operations and outstanding customer service. You will be working on modern installations, all of which are within the last 15 years. You will be given the autonomy to manage your own portfolio, plan your daily schedule, and make service decisions based on industry best practices.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of elevators
• Troubleshooting and repairing technical issues to minimize downtime
• Coordinating with contract managers and customers regarding repairs and parts availability
• Ensuring all work complies with safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Participating in an on-call roster (once every 6–8 weeks)
• Supporting continuous improvement by providing feedback on equipment and system performance

About You

To qualify, you will need a valid electrical license (trade qualification). Preferably, you have 3 years of experience in the lift industry or a related field. We also welcome candidates with strong mechanical expertise and at least one year of electrical experience.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Experience in servicing and maintaining lift systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
